Stalbridge Cancer and Recovery Support (SCARS) was founded in 2014 by Tracy White who, having been through the difficulties of cancer diagnosis and treatment, found that there was no local support for those who were going through the same. The website offers support to anyone with a cancer diagnosis; a cancer survivor; or family or friends of someone living with cancer. They are a self funded, independent peer support group, serving the local community.
Chrome, Safari and Mcafee have no problems with this website, yet Norton describes it as " a known dangerous website". That is ridiculous and although many potential users of the site do not have Norton as their "Net nanny" some obviously do and Norton is effectively turning those people away from accessing help in dealing with cancer and the chance to join one of the monthly drop in meetings at two locations in the North Dorset area. The group is also supported by Macmillan Cancer Support. Your Norton LifeLock automated system needs a serious overhaul if you are going to block this vital community resource.
