great security???

I have used paypal.com for years and have had confidence in their security up until recently, when I noticed that once I log off after paying, I am redirected to a site called PayPal Shopping which Norton says has computer threats. It has the PayPal logo and everything! I looked it up and the site is called mediaplex.com. Once I typed in the url it was the correct site. Has anyone else had this problem?

Having used PAYPAL for 9 years, we have not had any problems or issues at all with the site. Although there are times that it seems as if it takes a while for the site to come up after log in, we assumed that we were being redirected and would close out the browser. We would then bring up another browser and at the http line directly enter the Pay Pal website in the search line, which takes us directly to the site, once on the site, no problem. We realize that there are third parties that may do a redirect. We also clear out our browser history and we use the latest version of Norton Security 3.0 and would suggest that you also have a security system that lets you know when you are being redirected to another site. You can also eliminate any 3 party cookies that are being sent to partners about your internet travels.
