I contacted justanswer,com with a Excel formula question.......The directions given to upload my file were very incorrect and was told to use rthe paperclip on their reply box which only accepted JPEGS! My rep didn't know that and there IS no other way to upload my Excel sample for him to look at. Then he told me to use www.wikisendcom..(not part of their site)
Then he could get my file... that's #2.
#3 and the most compelling reason why I think this site is a ripoff or fake. My rep said while he gets ready to send me my answer just press the accept button which $49. first and answer would then be sent ...the EXACT opposite of what the welcome screen to justask states clearly. Twice the rep told me to accept first and then he'll deliver.....BIG clue. When I insisted on the info first he then said OK will deal with it in the morning .WHEN HE SAID HE HE ALREADY HAD THE ANSWER that evening.....that was clue #4 and this morning I called up justask and got a phone number only because when they debited my account, my bank shows who and a phone number....can't get their phone number any other way. When I called and explained the problem and this was serious, I will say the customer service rep was excellent in underatnding my problem, agreed with me, and close the thread and that my $49 will be returned.
Not that this should matter but the site says they are based out of CA which they are but you deal with people in India and not the US.
Don't go what I wenrt through...this website is either fake and/or a scam (IMHO) with pressure to pay, pay, pay. Final Clue...I hope this helps someone.
