They will "authorize" a credit card transaction of $1.00 when you become a member, but won't charge you anything. The authorization is just to verify. If you buy music downloads from iLike, they will delete the authorization, and only charge you for the music you buy. I have had good luck with iLike so far, and would recommend them to a friend.
