Unfortunately, their login page doesn't submit data over an encrypted connection. It's safe to browse the library catalog, but I wouldn't log in from an untrustworthy network (like a cyber cafe or public hotspot). However, this site is actually a source of information about software security and malware, and the scan apparently detected of exploits that are hosted for research purposes. I think it is safe to visit this site, but be aware that some files made available to the security research community may be real malware and should be handled carefully. Unfortunately, its popularity and high profile make it an appealing launchpad for the spread of malware and links to fraudulent sites. It has a history of cross-site scripting and IFrame issues. I would exercise caution when browsing MySpace.com. My advice is to use the most restrictive browser settings as feasible when visiting this site, such as turning off Java, Javascript, and other plugins. It may be safer to browse this site with less-popular browsers like Opera because there tend to be fewer targeted exploits against the uncommon browsers. Even then,I wouldn't visit the site unless I'd installed the latest security updates for my operating system, browsers, and other plugins that may be called from the browser if not disabed (Acrobat Reader, Quicktime, Flash).
