If you have sufferd from this, TRY THIS IT WORKS: Open your browser, then click on Add-Ons under Tools. You will see the app in the list there and it can be uninstalled from there. You will have to manually delete it the search engine list in Firefox using the Manage Search Engines selection in the drop down.
