any-video-converter.com : Just Be Cautious

Whilst NIS 2010 claims that the website is afe, Norton File Insight knows nothing of this file, and so will bombard you with warnings. I personally didn't take the risk and removed it completely, but if anyone could enlighten on whether it is safe or not I'd be grateful.

The page uses vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer to send a file to your computer known as "newplayer.pdf" without user intervention. This contains the Trojan.Pidief.H, and uses newplayer.pdf to exploit vulnerabilities in all versions of Adobe Acrobat from 6 and higher, and all versions of Adobe Reader 7.0 to 9.0, except 8.2.
I found an advertisment to this website, and websites like this are fake, 9 times out of 10. They usually ask you for personal information which they claim that they use to "award you a prize" or something like that. Instead, they use the information to put you in danger. Though this website does not contain any threats, you are still putting your identity at risk.

I have used web hosting from 07x.net on numerous occasions now, and have had no problems or security issues whatsover. The vPanel has no security issues, though it will keep pestering you with adverts promoting their "Paid Web Hosting". Mostly, a secure site.
