metrolyrics.com : For a while....

This site was rated MCAFEE SECURE. But then all of the sudden It was presumed dangerous because it breached the browser security (bypassed the firewall w/o permission). I used this site for all my lyrics when it was MCAFEE SECURE. But one time while it still was "secure" I was infected by Backdoor.Graybird. I don't want to point fingers or blame this site but This site is still the primary suspect so I suggest you stay away for now.

thepiratebay.org : odd occurrance

I use this site for pretty much all my torrents but when I was looking up Call of duty 4 I was browsing the search results When I noticed that the right side ad banner didn't load properly. Then Ad- Aware came up and said it blocked a malicious process and then the Internet Explorer just closed on its own. After this I checked the task manager I noticed 2 processes that were malicious (sysprotect.exe and 1d11.exe I think). So I ran a Spybot S&D scan and it discovered The vundo virus along with Winspywareprotect. After I noticed the detections I pulled out my network cable (to block the program from downloading anymore stuff on my pc). About 2 minutes later WinSpywareProtect showed up sure enough. Luckily Spybot took care of it. I'm not here to point fingers or blame anyone I'm just here to say that you should be careful while browsing this site and scan the files before you open them. It also would help if you used Adblock Plus with Firefox as well.

I was trying to get the 1.3 patch for call of duty world at war and Adaware discovered the malicious process called win32.trojan or something like that. after, i ran a scan and found that it was just a virus program trying to sneak on my computer. good job adaware!

pctools.com : I use it as my main antivirus program

of course, norton declares it malicious because many times antivirus programs don't work well together just like how norton said spybot was incompatible with your computer. so to the user below, use common sense and think before you type because norton is not always right.

internetantiviruspro.com : where do i begin?

like any other rouge antispyware, of course you have the annoying pop ups but this one does more. it actually gives you a fake blue screen of death and "restarts" the computer saying you need to activate the software. also, it modifies windows security center to work with the rouge application. bottom line, stay away
